Please join us on April 18, 2023 for TCYLA’s CLE Luncheon at Reata as we welcome Judge Steve King, Senior Probate Judge presenting: “Bonds, Inventories, & Accountings.” A native of Graham, Texas, Judge King graduated from the University of Texas and Baylor Law School, then practiced in Fort Worth for 17 years before being elected Judge of Tarrant County Probate Court Number One in 1994. He served in that capacity for six terms, stepping down in 2018.

Editor of the probate section of the Handbook for the Texas Judiciary (three times)

A Member of the Texas Supreme Court’s Probate Forms Task Force (2016-2022)
Judge King also serves as a mediator in probate, estate, and guardianship matters and is a co-author of West's Texas Practice Guide-Probate.
