We’ll be kicking off the tradition with pine cone crafts, helping kids make Christmas Trees and Reindeer ornaments! We need volunteers to staff the craft table.

In-Person and Virtual CLE Lunch

Please join us for TCYLA's upcoming CLE Luncheon at Reata as we welcome a panel of Tarrant County Civil Judges to answer questions on “Lessons from the Bench: What Young Trial Lawyers Need to Know Before Practicing in Tarrant County.” This presentation will be offered both in-person at Reata and simulcast to members who are either unable or not ready to attend in person, and the recording will be made available on the TCYLA website.
This event will be in person and will be simulcast in a Zoom webinar format. After registering for the simulcast, you will receive an email confirmation with the Zoom webinar details and “Join Meeting” link. For questions, please contact laurensc@tarrantbar.org.

UT Arlington Mock Trial Tournament
Friday, February 25, 2022 - Sunday, February 27, 2022
The University of Texas at Arlington will be hosting the AMTA Regional Mock Trial Tournament this year in-person. The Arlington Regional will involve nearly 250 students from 14 different colleges and universities across the country. Rounds will take place at the University of Texas at Arlington with the competition schedule as follows:
ROUND 1: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Friday, February 25, 2022
ROUND 2: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 26, 2022
ROUND 3: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 26, 2022
ROUND 4: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2022
Catered breakfast, lunch or dinner will be served before every round of competition. Up to three hours of CLE credit is available. If you would like to volunteer as a judge, please sign up here.
